Indledning
The protagonist is sitting at the table of a coffeeshop, intensely admiring her former boyfriend who’s with his new girlfriend.
Her ex’s presence sets off her act of recollecting her memories three years prior spend with him and overcoming such events which proved to be significantly damaging to her both mentally and physically.
Irina will in this story overcome her past trauma due to the former events and move on thanks to the encounter with her ex-boyfriend.

Throughout the story were predominantly seeing the world through Irina’s eyes, this helps the reader on the way that it doesn’t introduce various narrators with different narrations of the same story furthermore building to possible confusion on the reader’s part.
“Irina notices the rack of papers and magazines and decides to say” Sorry I’ll have to drink in; don’t worry about a new cup, the paper one is just fine”” (Page 1. Line 5.).
However, while it detracts these things it also contributes to a certain amount of trust and sympathy bestowed upon the narrator which eyes the reader is experiencing the story through.
A notable thing would be taking her own memories into consideration when discussing the point of view, since it’s basically a story within a story, however there’s still a lack of narrations in her own memories.
We’re not experiencing her events through her ex-boyfriend’s eyes but her own, giving us a subjective view into the stories without seeing his perspective of her behaviour and character, leaving us with an indistinct image of her own being while they were together.
