Thank you very much for being here today. I am very honoured to get the opportunity to speak at this conference, and address the issue evolving women’s rights.
From the beginning of time, women had a powerful role in the shaping of the world. They stood by pretty and idly as their country, and the world moved on without them, and yet demanded and fought for the equal rights, which they rightly deserved.

The purpose of this speech is to give a voice to women anywhere around the world, whose words and experiences go unheard.
And for those of us who have the fortunate opportunity to be gathered here today, must realise that we have a responsibility to speak for those who aren’t able to.
As a free, young woman from America, I find it extremely important to break the silence and to take a stand.
