Good afternoon, everyone I am Mads Troelsen your fellow student, I am studying History and immigration as some of you may know I have been asked to give you a speech on my point of view on the current immigration debate.

I have analyzed some interesting information about the effect immigrants have on our culture, economy, and American identity. So welcome and thank you everyone I will now begin.

One of the biggest problems with immigration is communication, many immigrants will have some issues when they start working because of this language barrier that exists.

It is therefore important that this does not become a problem in the future I would suggest that it is important to make sure immigrants quickly learn the language if they do not know it already.

This can be solved by the government of America by providing services that ensures the immigrants' ability to communicate with their fellow Americans.

This will improve immigration and communication in social situations or with their work provider.

When it comes to the economy immigrants have been improving the economy a study by IMF showed that growth by 1% in immigration provides the country with +2% GDP per capita .

This shows a great impact on the economy which means immigrants are positive when you look from an economic point of view.

The age group of most immigrants also provides positive for this study because this group of people, often fall in the working age.

The IMF also suggested to America, and the United Kingdom to open their borders4 to make sure their aging population does not create problems with their prosperity.

This makes sure that the country gets more GDP per capita but also ensures the system, so it does not overflow with a wide span in the age groups.

If we look at the American economy the immigrants have also had a noticeable effect, the immigrants have impacted the economic growth by two-thirds of the growth since 2011 this is a study made by Oxford University5 .

This provides us with information that shows immigrants have made a great impact on the American economy.

This suggests that politicians and Americans should be grateful, for this tribute that the many immigrants in their country have provided them.

Immigrants are also more likely to start their own company, win a Nobel prize or win an academy award.

The reason for this is that immigration is a big risk for the people who are migrating which means they are more entrepreneurial6 .
