Donald Trump’s immigration policy is very strict, he takes every chance and opportunity to get more immigrants out of the US. An example is the coronavirus that he uses as a pretext to boot more immigrants out of the country.

His campaign in 2016 also pushed to crack down on a lot of undocumented migrants, and therefor change the immigration policy in US, where in the earlier days with Barack Obama everyone was welcomed to live ‘The American Dream’.

When he became president was it still on the forefront of his White House agenda, he pushed to get more migrants out of the country, and also did all he could to prevent more coming into the country.

As mentioned earlier Trump used the coronavirus as a way to get even more migrants out of the country, but he also implemented a ‘’public health emergency policy’’ that allowed US officials to rapidly deport migrants caught at the US-Mexico border.

He even banned travellers from seven muslim-majority countries. All this because Trump fears US is losing their identity as a country.
