Indledning
Today we are going to talk about ‘San Junipero’ and the text ‘A Sound of Thunder’. The episode ‘San Junipero’ is a British science fiction where the short story is set in 2055. This episode is about two girls named Kelly and Yorkie. They show their story where they fall in love, but later on in the episode you see Yorkie where she is quadriplegic. Kelly comes to see Yorkie where she enters the world San Junipero.
This world is a simulated reality that the elderly can inhabit. Kelly’s health also becomes bad, and in the end, she decides to pass over her consciousness to San Junipero so that she and Kelly can live happily there.
