Uddrag
Please raise your hand, if you have seen the movie Hillbilly Elegy from 2020 or read the book? That was also what I expected, the story is about J. D. Vance, to those of you that know him.

It is about his upbringing and family background while growing up in the city of Middletown, Ohio, which is a part of the Appalachian region.

It is about the Appalachian values of his Kentucky family and their relation to the social problems where his mother's parents moved when they were young .

The story gives a good inside of how the society was in these areas where there were not so many jobs anymore. Heroin and other drugs started to be a major problem, killing a lot of people and violence and especially violence in families which has destroyed many families.
