Solo Dance is about a relationship between a woman and her parents, who had been divorced for two years. She had not been home for a long time due to, her father having a cancer operation.
The Hospital then became her second home, for a long time, because she was visiting him every other day. She was sitting for hours behind his bed, and just admiring him.
Seeing him flickering, and his body shrinking. When she was at the hospital and visiting him, she read his get-well cards aloud for him.
