I have chosen to write about the film "Rocks", where the genre is drama.
The movie 'Rocks' is about the teenager Shola Omotoso who is called Rocks by her friends and her little brother Emmanuel.
When a single mother from a Nigerian immigrant family unexpectedly left her child to try to get her mind back to normal, her teenage daughter was left to support herself and her brother.
She could not indulge in the typical carefree youth activities, but was forced to make improvisations to bring her current small family together, forcing her to often make problematic survival decisions.
The film was written by Theresa Ikoko who is the future Nigerian- British playwright/screenwriter.
Claire Wilson, who is a film and TV writer, agreed to help Theresa Ikoko so they could write the film together.
