“I can’t breathe. I can’t breathe.” those were the last words of George Floyd. A black man who was murdered by a white police officer.
When it comes to systemic racism in the U.S, it is safe to say it is time to make a change. The remark is performed by the current president of the United States, Joe Biden at the White House on the 20th of April 2021.

“Enough. Enough. Enough of the senseless killings.” (l.16) He says it is enough now and that the murder of George Floyd will be a step towards a better U.S and that they need to take action to make a difference.
This can be seen as he writes “this can be a giant step forward in the march toward justice in America.” (l. 22) which indicates a change is needed.
Joe Biden uses repetition to strengthen the meaning of his point throughout the speech. This can be seen throughout the speech where he uses the word change a lot.
“We have a chance to begin to change” l.(115) “This can be a moment of significant change” (l.120) “In order to deliver real change and reform” (l.49)
