The short story “Noel” is written by Michael Plemmons in the year of 1985. Christmas is all about celebrating the birth of Christ, the hope and light, and most importantly our love for each other.

There is no Christmas without happy children, dancing around the tree, spreading joy and happiness.

But what about the couples with no kids? In the story “Noel” this problem is solved, by making it an option to rent an orphan for Christmas Eve.

It’s even possible to decide if it should be a boy or girl, the age and how the child should look.

Especially the young girls are in favor with their dimples and bangs, while no one wants the two older boys with pubescent mustache.
