This controversy was all around the US, and an important thing to point out here is that even Donald Trump commented on this issue.
His response was following “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now.
Out! He’s fired. He’s fired!’”. We can clearly see the American president was ragging about this and he thinks Colin Kaepernick did not just disrespect the American flag, but also the American values.
