Summary: (present tense)
The short story “Just Like That” by Michael Richards is about a boy and a man who is hunting kangaroos, probably in Australia.

The story takes place in the morning. The man seems to be teaching the boy how to hunt or in fact how to kill kangaroos.

This is the first time for the boy and the man tells the boy that if he does not manage to shoot a kangaroo today, he will never be able to do it.

Before the boy kills his first kangaroo he’s very eager and excited but in the end, he is crying and then the man says it enough for today.
