Summary
The story, “homo for Christmas” written by Juno Dawson, is about a boy whom is still enjoying his last teenage years.

Duncan has always been secretly attracted to men, and even though he didn’t really talk to anyone about the possibility that he might be bisexual or gay, he had always aware of how the situation was.

Even though he has never really come out verbally to his parents, they were fully conscious of what was going on, and have always been so.

when Duncan was younger, he had had a girlfriend called Ellie, in a long period of time. Even though he really cared about her, he felt as if something was missing, and that “something” he found when he met Fernando. Husk at få slutningen med I et summary. Ellers fint.

I mangler en indledning?
“I want to, I reply. And I do. Well, I don’t, but I have to, like.” (P 1, L 22) The short story is written in first-person narrator.

This makes the story seem more personal, compared to other points of views, for example, stories written in 3rd person omniscient narrator, where the narrator is simply observing the actions taking place in the novelle.

Right from the start, and throughout the whole story, it’s very clear that the author has written the story in first person narrator.

A lot of the sentences in the short story are initiated by personal pronouns such as: me, me, etc. This makes the story seem a lot more personal, because it makes us readers feel more present in the story, almost like we’re standing on the sideline and observing the course of action.
