From Hell | Analyse

The film “from hell” presents a rather far-fetched theory regarding whom committed the infamous Jack the Ripper murders, this film’s theory involves an affair that the prince of England has with a prostitute, the freemason, and the queen of England.

This film is set in Victorian-era London, this era of London is portrayed in this movie as a dark and gloomy place occupied by bleak flats and muddy narrow streets crowded with horse carriages

all of this overshadowed by the grey clouds formed from the many factories of London spewing smoke up in the air.

The slums of London are additionally ravaged by gangs that extort Mary and her friends along with the other inhabitant of the Whitechapel district.
