After the independence from British rule Urbanization in India began to increase, due to the rise of the private sector, in connection to the adoption of mixed economy.
At independence Indian economic output has fallen drastic . Furthermore, will the rural areas be ruled by urban population in the late 2030´s in Bangladesh and Pakistan .
According to statistics, is India far below countries such as Japan, US and China in percentage of population residing in urban areas .
But the numbers are still rising for India. Delhi is expected to overrule Japan as the most populous urban area in two decades .
A solution to this problem could be to increase economic development and create more jobs. Biodiversity, such as planting trees and incorporate green ground to the cities, could help solve the challenge.
The failing school system leads India to the next challenge, youth unemployment. Children leaves schools and won´t be able to find a decent employment, which has fatal consequences for the society .
