Students are affected everyday by having thoughts that a school shooting could happen at any given time due to its frequency.
How would you be affected by those thoughts if you walked around paranoid thinking you will need to run or hide immediately if this happened?
This is explained by Robinson Meyer in the article ‘’The Righteous Anger of the Parkland Shooting’s Teen Survivors’’ written in 2018.
He writes about the terrible shooting that happened there and how the survivors of this incident use their voice out in the world and through social media to try and make a change about gun restrictions.
There is no doubt that the article has been influenced by Robinson Meyer’s opinion about all this, but still presents some good points on his topic which is ‘School Shootings’ in general
but he has Parkland’s school shooting in focus because that school shooting exceeded the casualties of the prior shooting in Columbine.
