Like most things, what you can do, and what people choose to do, are two very different things. For Americans, especially their gun laws and what people do regardless of the law, are shockingly to most people.

A controversial topic like the gun law, has many laws setting a boundary for what is right, and what is wrong, but also how people by manipulating the law daily causes deaths across the US, and what to do about such a terrible thing.

Furthermore, a big part of the debate about gun control and its laws, is how the political system, the President, and other organizations, such as the NRA, chooses to overlook the growing problem about gun violence.

Somehow, the people responsible for law and are not as quick as the future’s generation to seek out the most extensive problem that the country faces.

The people with power to change the law, chooses to ignore the problem, and the current President even making it easier for people to be part of the problem.

“In February of 2017, one year ago, President Trump repealed an Obama-era regulation that would have made it easier to block the sale of firearms to people with certain mental illnesses.”

Page 4, line 19-21. With Trump as the head of political power of a nation with the biggest gun violence problem in the world, it is near close to impossible to make people see the reality of the problem.

“The people in the government who were voted into power are lying to us.” Page 4, line 33. With leaders like Trump she emphasizes the central problem, the government fills the people with lies to avoid the real problem.

As a result, she goes on to say that the people in charge of protecting the ones that really gets affected by the never changing laws, do not know what the right thing is to do.

That the youth continuing to speak up about the problem are too young to fully understand consequences. “They say tougher guns laws do not decrease gun violence.

We call BS.” Page 5, line 6-8. “That us kids don't know what we're talking about, that we're too young to understand how the government works. We call BS.” Page 5, line 10-12.

The entirety of her speech and especially with this quote, the statement that she phrases is that people need to listen to everyone, not just the adult and people of political power.

Everyone’s voice should be taken to thought when it affects everyone.
