Indledning
A very well debated subject in the United States of America is the death penalty. Crimes such as treason, espionage, massive drug trafficking, and so on, can initiate capital punishment also known as the death penalty or execution.
This government-authorized penalty can be carried out in different ways. The most common ways are electrocution, hanging, and lethal injection.
Thus, the underlying question of why such a horrific and terrible thing is used should be considered.

In the text, Robert Becker wrote "Let a man taste his own medicine-to satisfy our deepest instinct for justice" .
This reveals the position of the United States and whether they stand within the scope of justice. But did they do it?
Robert does not believe that murderers should be executed without suffering, because the murderer is friendly to the victim?
Becker does not question whether it is possible, but he participates in discussions about what methods should be used to take a person's life to help restore the moral balance of society.
In the article "Death Penalty Support and Religion", a moral contradiction is used. 66% of Catholics means that the death penalty should be used, but it is clear that their religion does not support murder? This clearly depends on the situation and shows morale.
