Yesterday a cyclone ravaged Bangladesh with hurricane winds. UN assuming, that around 500.000 people died under the disaster.
It’s the deadliest cyclone in man’s memory. The cyclone, first hit the Bengal bay and then south Bangladesh’s fertile delta areas, where a lot of people live, and they were not warned.

On certain coastal stretches, the storm flood reached a record height of incomprehensible 13 meters and at the same time as the wind was clearing at 190km/h.
Even the highest palm trees were not an escape route. Islands filled with fishers, arable growers, and kids were flushed over end. When the high tide finally began to sink after 36 hours, were large zones destroyed.
The so called Bhola-cyclone, has created the deadliest tragedy in many years. Bangladesh is already affected by famine and on the edge of civil war, 500.000 people has by now been killed under the brutal conflict.
