Convenience stores before and after COVID-19 | 12 i karakter

Convenience stores are stores such as 7-Eleven and Circle K. The concept of a convenience store is to make money by buying goods and selling these to customers.

Convenience stores typically sell snacks, fast-food, drinks, tobacco, magazines, candy and even alcohol at some locations.

Convenience stores are located everywhere in the U.S. They are often found at gas stations and other easily accessible/convenient locations.

Today, mid COVID-19, convenience stores such as 7-Eleven and Circle K are using a differentiation strategy.

When a company pursues a differentiation strategy, it is able to differentiate itself from its competitors and achieve a situation where customers have preferences for that specific company’s product(s) .

They have begun using this strategy now that they have gone online too. Convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Circle K, have become different from other convenience stores and are now offering online shopping, that other shops do not (yet) offer.
