Brexit was a featured topic in the UK media and spoken about a lot in Europe as well. On June 23, 2016, the citizens of the UK voted whether they wanted the UK to leave the EU or stay.

The result of the referendum showed that there was a narrow majority of 17.4 million or 51.9 percent, who voted for an exit.

After the vote had ended and the votes was for the UK leaving, it took further four more years before it became a reality that the UK was out of the EU.

It was widely discussed whether is would be a good or a bad choice they made, what pros and cons it might include.
