Indledning
Lions, spiders, cows, and whales, as well as all the other wondrous creatures on Earth - what do they all have in common? They are all constituents of something bigger called biodiversity.

The word is a portmanteau of “biological” and “diversity”, denoting all the different kinds of species on Earth. It is responsible for the maintenance of our physical environment, nature, as well as giving colour and life to the world.

Without biodiversity, we burn the history of evolution, but currently, there is a financial incentive to act without the environment in mind; however, that approach is unsustainable and will be responsible for the collapse of nature.

Trees and plants are responsible for absorbing carbon dioxide as well as releasing oxygen for us to breathe.
