Indledning
The movie is about the stockbroker Patrick Bateman who is the vice president of his father’s investment business. Bateman is living his life to the fullest.
He spends his time going to the most famous restaurants in the USA, he only wears designer clothes. He gets mixed up with another stockbroker his name is Marcus.

Patrick Bateman is a wealthy stockbroker that lives in New York. Bateman is a materialistic man because he is living a fancy lifestyle owning and buying the finest of the finest on the market.
He is jealous, of what the other stockbrokers have, and that is why he “kills” Allen because he has a nicer apartment and has gotten the “Fisher appointment”.
He is a handsome man who often gets mixed up being another stockbroker named Marcus, Bateman pretends to be Marcus so he will be more liked by the group. Bateman is addicted to sex, drugs, and killing women, which happens many times in the movie.
