The young people sitting opposite me were not speaking English. I assumed they were tourists like me and asked them if they were enjoying their vacation in the US. But I was completely wrong.
It was three men and two women sitting opposite to me in this crowded train. One of the women were wearing a head scarf around what I assume was her hair underneath.

This is not unheard of before. Illegal refugees often leave their home country, their broken country, due to their current bad lives. They fear their life, and bringing a baby into the world, off course they want to give that baby the best opportunities life has to offer.
They want a better life for their children, than they had themselves. To me, that is a beautiful thing. Even though in the media, the white house, by the borders and politician’s offices, its portrayed as inhuman and illegal, a bad thing; they ruin America.
I asked them, just so I understood 100%, “So you are American?” With their gentle eyes who has gone through so much discrimination and systematic racism and bullshit, they just looked at me.
