Indledning
I’ve chosen to talk about suicide amongst Indigenous Australians.
I chose this topic because I already know quite a lot about suicide and its rates in general and because I think it is important to acknowledge that the suicide rates among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are substantially higher than those in non-Indigenous Australians.

To sum up my synopsis, racism is obviously the source behind all this suffering, and as everyone knows, this isn’t something that can be easily fixed.
But what we can do, is make people aware of the high suicide rates among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
I’m sure that if we reach out to social media across the world and make more people aware of this serious problem, that we could potentially prevent other Indigenous people from committing suicide.
