It is December, the darkest and coldest time of the year, but which due to the holiday spreads warmth. This winter evening everything seems very normal.
The night sky is clear, whereupon the stars are glowing, and the almost invisible snowflakes are seen in the light from the rusty streetlights.
A light fog, carried by the winter wind around the city in the narrow streets, where a large number of candles stand in the windows.
The calendar-candles have been burned down till the 23rd. There is now only one night till Christmas Eve.

Christmas music plays, while the last Christmas presents are placed under the tree. The two children jump in their pyjamas with a pixy hat on top. The family is looking forward to the big day.
