Uddrag
6. Describe the scene where the main character is hanged.
The scene where the main character is a very violent and unpleasant scene too look at.

It is very strange to think about that it was normal at that time. It is also very unpleasant to watch.

7. What request does Patsey have for Solomon? What does that tell you about the life of a slave?
Patsey wants Solomon to help her. She wants him to kill her and get her down to the water.

She wants to die because she thinks the life of a slave is terrible, and it’s better to die than live that life.
