The analysis is about how immigrants are being treated like victims, and how they always have been treated like that in the UK.
The analysis is more structured and examples of symbols, metaphor, themes and language. Immigrants in the United Kingdom have always been mistreated, until this terrible disease came and hit the whole world, where immigrants now are seen as our heroes.
They are the ones who go to work and put themselves at risk of getting the disease every day.
These are the ones the poem is for. A pat for the immigrants therefore repeated throughout the poem line ´you clap for me now´(l.13) and the title.
