The whole world and most importantly the world economy have been affected very bad due to the outbreak and rapid spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) which has roiled markets and disrupted supply chains, threatening the global economy.
It is also forcing companies to confront a host of hard questions about how they can and should conduct business during a global public health crisis.
However, many businesses are being forced to close their doors due to the spread of this virus which has also led to major financial losses for major companies these businesses are taking a huge hit in reference to their income.
The only business that are open during this time are open during this terrific time are grocery stores, pharmacies, mailing services, medical supply production, restaurants and some other few.
The problem that we are seeing today during this difficult time, is the opposite of what the employees are expecting, because we see that many employees are being fired from their companies which have had a big impact on the U.S. GDP, which means fewer workers employed in the labor market is a factor, which helps increasing the unemployment rate in America.
The economy has been hit hard, with a fall in GDP and higher unemployment as a result, but there is great uncertainty about the further course. There have been major changes in society, for example in the workplace.
In this connection, the employer is obliged to take the necessary measures in order to reduce the risk as much as possible, eg by organizing the work in such a way that the employees can keep their distance, hand sanitizing , minimize the number of (physical) meetings, and prioritize regular cleaning of the workplace, temperature check, wearing masks and social détente where people are forced to work in different zones, which will not lead to the whole company being shut down if that’s the case.
However, Covid has not only affected companies negatively, but has also had a good impact on other companies, such as the company Chairmin which produces toilet paper, the toilet paper is categorized as a necessity for most people and therefore one needs it no matter what the price is.
During the corona crisis, the company has been challenged by their customers as the demand for certain products such as toilet paper has increased, and thus the companies have to respond by producing the quantity of goods that are in demand on the market.
