Indledning
The present by Jacob Frey is about a teenage boy. At first, nothing seems to be wrong and we get the impression that he is just a normal teenager playing video games.

At one point his mother comes home with a box and puts it in front of him. He does not really seem to recognize his mom neither the box she has with her.

When she mentions that it is a present, she has brought with her home you see him for one of the first time losing focus from the game.

After he takes it up, he sees that it has a disability and his missing the front leg. The boy himself is also suffering a disability and is missing his own leg.

He throws the puppy on the ground due to him thinking it is gross. Under some furniture, a ball is laying which the puppy finds very fascinating and therefore keeps bringing the ball back to the boy.
