Indledning
The name of the short story is ”The Landlady”, and it was published by Roald Dahl in 1959. The story is narrated by a third person. It is obvious that the narrator of the short story is not included in the story.
It almost feels like the narrator is following Mr. Weaver through the story, because we see things from Mr. Weaver’s perspective.

I also find it very weird and frightening, when the landlady says that Mr. Temple’s skin was just like a baby (line 436).
It is frightening because it is not normal to say it to describe a guest, who just stayed in your hotel. It seems like she felt his skin, which is not normal.
It becomes more weird, because as mentioned Mr. Temple was only 25 (line 431), and the landlady seems to be around 45 to 50 years old.
A huge turning point for Mr. Weaver was when he found out that the pets were stuffed. It is a bit weird, because it is not normal, to stuff one’s pets, after they pass away (line 475).
