Indledning
What does this generation consist of? There are a lot of generations, and they are very different from each other. Five years might not seem like a big age gap but compared to the way you were raised by your generation it might be.

In this year 2021 we have our parents who were the first generation, then we have the millennials, and a new generation has been born. Gen-z.

To many adults it might seem as though the only thing young people nowadays are doing on their phones is wasting time.

But they can do so many things, they can talk to people on the other side of the world, and they can get inspired, they can do something on that small phone that might possibly have a huge influence on someone, or a group of people that they do not even know.

The people in that generation are much more open-minded about religion, sexuality, culture, and see things from a bigger perspective.

This generation is everywhere around the world you see them on social media, and they get influenced by it and by other people. “We draw from social media we draw from actual real-life experiences, and other nations because we become more international”.

They draw from all these things, and then develop their own identity. They use social media and the likes on their posts for validation from their friends and people.

This helps them develop their identity. “Provides validation of identity, but the expansion of it through the exposure of ideas, people and world issues bringing about tolerance and open-mindedness”.

Social media also helps people get their opinions out and connect with someone who has the same opinion as you, and someone who might be just as different from society norms.

This generation has become much more open to gender, accepting everyone, and making room for people who feel like they do not fit in.

To say that this generation is identity- less is wrong, this generation has more culture and open-mindedness than the previous generation.

They have huge identities and personalities, they are not afraid to show who they are, and they are not afraid to switch to another identity if that suits them better.
