mentions in his TED Talk “The Big Gang Theory”, which is about preventing and reducing youth from joining gangs etc.

35 percent of that total number, are youth. Young people engaging in gang violence. This is a serious problem that needs to be done something about immediately
because young children shouldn’t become involved with gang violence at all. Especially not if they think it’s their only way to feel belonged.
