Indledning
The most memorable day in my life. An important event for us, African American people. I remember the day as if it happened just yesterday.

It was Thursday, and I had just got on the bus on my way home. I was of course, sitting at the back of the bus where the seats for colored people were placed.

A man who had just got on the bus, and witnessed the whole thing happening went up to the seat. He cleared his throat and asked the woman to get up from the seat.

She kept looking out the window, not even bothering to reply. The people in the bus, all gasped at the action. The man repeated his words again, and the woman finally looked up and said “no” with a stern voice.

The man now looked furious as he was furrowing his brows. “Get up now unless I’ll” The man started but was quickly cut off by the woman. “No” she said. “There are other seats in the bus”.
