Jane and her sister Averill moved to a new house with their mom and dad, Jane and Averill rooms were downstairs, and the rooms were connected by a hallway.

The hallway had an old carpet it was red, and gold and they weren't allowed to move the carpet.

One day Averill accidently fell and moved the carpet, Under the carpet there was little hatch she showed Jane, and Jane gasped and said "we should go down there tonight"

but then they heard their mom coming downstairs and quickly covered the hatch with the carpet Jane whispered to Averill "set an alarm on your phone to 3am and have a flashlight on your night stand"

later that night they went to sleep with a flashlight on their nightstands and an alarm set to 3am Averill couldn't sleep she was scared

but Jane on the other hand slept like a baby excited to see what was under the hatch, When the alarm rang Averill went out in The hallway and jane stood their excited and ready she had already turned her flashlight on “Are you ready?”

said Jane and Averill responded “No, are you sure you want to do this?” jane said excitedly “yes of course!” jane moved the carpet and tried to open the hatch, but it was locked so they went to sleep again.

the next night right before they went to sleep jane stole their mom's keys and when they woke up again at 3 am jane moved the carpet and tried all moms' keys and when she almost had lost hope, she found the key that worked and said to Averill “Come and help me open the hatch” they tried to open it as quietly as they could so their parents wouldn’t hear them.

The hatch had the worst odor you could smell it miles away they walked down the ladder with their flashlights in their mouth the floor and walls had blood splatters all over them and it looked like someone had tried to write help with their blood but instead their just stood “HEL” Averill said, “This is really scary can we go back-” “shhh” said jane staring at one of the walls Averill asked jane “What is so special about that wall?”
