How can it be, that slavery ended over 150 years ago, and yet somehow racial discrimination is still happening all over America?
How can it be that 53,3% of Americans living in poverty, are either African American, Hispanic, or Asian? Why is it that we haven’t learned from the past, and done something about it sooner?

I would like to think that there still is a common ground, of understanding the need for improvement, but the American people had gotten a sense of complacency, enough that the president felt confident saying “They’re rapists. the japs.
the blacks” and even “Laziness is a trait in blacks”. It has taken the brutal death of George Floyd, but I’m confident that the common ground we need, has been build again.
Though that is just the starting point, now the question becomes what we do to The main anchor point in these debates, has always been level playing fields across races, just as it is in all other discrimination debates.
You cannot change the mindset of racist folk, but you can prevent them, from having better preconditions, that way racial discrimination will become an opinion and not an action.
There needs to be put an end to Police Brutality, Educational Inequality, poverty, starvation, the racial wage gap and so much more.
Before everybody can have equal opportunities, despite the color of there skin.
