The first man to discover America was Christopher columbiums in 1492 because he got lost and thought that he discovered India and he was the one who named them Indians and that’s were the misconception of the name comes from.
So who were the first humans to discover America it was actually the native Americans who hiked over a “land bridge” from Asia to what is now Alaska more than 12,000 years ago.
By the time the Europeans arrived in the 15th century it was estimated that more than 50 million people were already living in America.
There were many different Native American tribes in North America, and their homes were often very different. Some tribes had to build homes to help them thru harsh winters and others built homes to keep them cool in extreme heat.
