Since resources are scarce, especially at the time of a pandemic, not all needs and wants can be satisfied. This requires to be made choice and includes opportunity costs.
Countries all around world suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic. This has caused many industries to shut down either completely/partially, one of the industries that had to completely shut down was the automotive industry.
Germany and France being the biggest manufacturers, they are the focus in the event. Governments in Europe had to make a choice to figure out a way to reopen and invest in this industry, one of the solutions were to subsidize electric vehicles (here on EV/s).
