Indledning
Many people wonder if paradise exists, and if so, what does paradise consist of? Throughout the history there have been many theories about how a paradise looks like
for instance in the old religion books as the bible they described a paradise as a place where there is abundance of animals , plants and the human being are happy just like the garden of Eden with Eva and Adam, other religions are also quite giving a frame of paradise being a peaceful place with abundance.
All of these concepts have given us a romantic meaning of what paradise is. It is paradise, a place where you can be free and where happiness is the main feeling in the middle of nature with pristine mountains with no much money with people that are very happy and not materialistic just as Mattew Kneale wrote in his novel from Neville´s perspective.

Furthermore in the novel the story turns out in conflict because the he did not revealed the truth to the villages about why he actually was in Nepal, so when he decided to tell them just before he had to leave Drughat that he was a tourist guide writer and decided to not write about specifically this village due to consider the village a Paradise on his perspective where everything was perfect where he thought that money was not an important factor of their society.
However, the villagers did not understand why he did not want to write about them because they did all their best to make him feel good, with the best food ever.
Therefore Neville is taken to the house of the person who perhaps was the leader of the village , who happens to be the same person that he met in the path and recommended him to Drughat. In Neville´s mind the concept of Paradise collapse turning into a fake act.
The Villagers would love to have tourists coming to their village because they would also like to prosper a little bit at least having a doctor to come once in a while
maybe a teacher that could educate the children and somehow get some income through tourism instead of agriculture which is considered very hard in such a steep terrain. by the following quotes the text shown the actual conflict has escalate and even went further into a certain aggression.
Neville: 'You don't know what you're throwing away. People aren't happy in the West, even though they're rich.' The man in the army jacket: 'Or is it that you are selfish and want to keep this village only for yourself? Like a pet.'
