Hi everyone. My name is Victor Hansen, and it is today about six months since George Floyd died. We are all gathered here today
not least to mourn the worldwide situation in which George Floyd died, but also to talk about what we can learn from this. George Floyd died a half year ago after being detained by four police officers.

This, of course, created huge publicity everywhere, and this is not the first time that violence has been used against innocent black people. I think there is a huge form of racism in the US police.
There are even several episodes that support this hypothesis that the US police are racist. The fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor by police officers in Kentucky and the killing of Ahmaud Arbery after he was pursued by two armed white men while he was out jogging.
