Today we often hear about clubs filled with cocaine and ecstacy not mention alcohol which is even served at bars. It’s hard to go through today’s youth culture without being asked or offered some form of intoxicant.
In an article published by “Our World in Data” written by Hannah Ritchie and Max Roser and study conducted by “Global Burden of Disease” it is made clear that the deaths caused by substance use worldwide, has steadily been going up since 1990.

In the same article it is shown 5,47% of all Americans have a drug or alcohol related disorder, while it is 2,83% in Denmark. This all points to the fact that there is a problem.
The teenage years are a time of experimentation and exploration, teenagers often have a desire for new things and wanting to diverge from their parents.
