Uddrag
When Katherine woke up, her parents and her sister, Julie, came in to the room, with a birthday cake and sung for her. Katherine just turned five, and she was looking forward to this day. Julie had planned a birthday surprise for her little sister. They were going to the beach to gather muscling shells.

When they arrived on the beach, the wind was blowing vigorously, and it got Katherines beige skirt to flutter to the sides. Her light brown hair that had been put up in a bun, was now laying straight on her shoulders.

The wet grey sand that made her bare feet cold, so they almost lost their colour. She held her snow-white ballerina shoes in her hands.

Julie always used to walk bare feet too. She remembered how she and Katherine ran together, over the warm sand, with their hair hanging loosely and a smile on the lip, while the sun warmed their bare shoulders.

The sand was now cold, the water chilly and the sun beams could no longer shine through the skies. The breezy wind made the hair on the arms rise.

Julie often told horror stories to her little sister, but she never got scared. She was the bravest little girl, she had ever known, and everybody loved her.

"Julie? May I go to the coastline, and look for some muscling shells?”
