White privileges have controlled our world for decades now, and it needs to change. Many white people might not look in the mirror and think “Oh I have the same privileges as everybody else” because it has always been that way.

But let me ask you something. Have you ever had problems getting into a school? Have you ever had problems going through security, being scared that they wouldn’t let you through? Have you ever had the privilege to learn about your race in school? Let me tell you something.

I have never had issues going through security, I have never had problems getting into a school, and I learned about my race in school. Because I am White.

That is what white privileges is, it is being able to walk around in your city, not thinking about what people think about you, it is getting looked at as a worthy human being, it is being favored in school by your teachers, it is being able to have a healthy relationship with the police.
