#Metoo is an awareness movement of sexual harassment often appearing in the business industry.
The movement is all about women getting to tell the story, they were otherwise told to keep quiet. The movement was created to give women a safe place where they were not alone.
The #metoo movement was first founded in 2006 by the lawyer Tarana Burke. Since then, the movement had its big debut in 2017 when the actor Alyssa Milano encouraged women to speak up upon their stories.

Men are often referred to as the one in power, the stronger one, the one that has the last say. This might be because of the wage differences on the labour market.
Thinking they are the ones with the control and the power, they manage to somehow justify harassing or assaulting an intern, a colleague or maybe even someone in an equal position.
