Indledning
in the movie “Green Street Hooligans”, we meet Matt Bunker who is thrown out of his university because his roommate accused Matt for selling drugs at the school, but he had nothing to do with that. Matt travels to east London to live with his sister and her husband.

He meets a guy called Pete which is his brother in-law, Steve’s little brother, Pete is in a hooligan group called “GSE”, and he takes Matt to his first football gamer ever.

Matt falls in love with the solidarity and the values that’s in the group, and he learns to stand up for himself and what real friends are.

Pete and matt become best friends, and Matt moves in with Pete after a huge quarrel with Shannon his sister.

Matt stays in the group and joins as many fights as possible, until Shannon convince Matt to come with her to the US.

Matt joins his last fight that day to show that he still supports and love the group, but the fight is also coursing his best friends’ life. Pete dies for one's beliefs -friendship.

Back in the US, we see our old friend Jeremy Van Holden, he is sitting in the bar with some of his friends and celebrates that he got a deal in his firm. Jeremy goes to the bathroom to take drugs but get an unexpected visitor.

Matt is back, to get his rightfully place at Harvard back. After he’s little get away to London Matt now knows how to stand up for himself, and not being stepped on by idiots.

Jeremy is surprised to see Matt, but he’s still being a total idiot. Matt starts to ask question about why Jeremy hadn’t helped him, as he said he would.

Jeremy tells that Matt can call his office if he would have a meeting with him, and then slams the door in Matt’s face.

Matt walks away and suddenly pulls out a recorder that had recorded the whole conversation. Jeremy runs out of the toilet stall and tries in vain to get the recorder.

Matt acted self-defence and hold his fist reedy to give him what he deserves. But Matt remembered what Pete has taught him ” there’s a time to walk away” … and this was the time.

Matt walks out to the street where he looks really relieved, and he starts smiling. He starts to sing "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles", and then it ends.
