Racism is unfortunately something that have been in the society for centuries, and possibly we’ll be stuck with it, in this century, too.
Somebody has never and will never experience racism. But for people living in another country than their own, they will experience racism in some point in their life. I, for example, experienced racism when I was a young teen.
I applied at a job in a grocery store, in my hometown, where I was born and grown up in. The store manager wanted to meet me.
When we met, he told me that he unfortunately, could not hire me. Not because I wrote a bad job-application, or did not live up to their standards, but because I was darker in my skin color. The store wouldn’t “scare” their customers away, with me, working.
Racism is not a thing you’re born with, but something you are indirectly taught by parents and other people that are close to you, when you’re a kid.
