What is wrong with having a girl, some of you might wonder. See, in India, bearing a girl is being compared to watering someone else’s field . Women are not considered able to make money and they are financially and emotionally dependent on men .
Men has always been the superior and preferable gender because they are considered to be able to make money, they are able to support their aging parents and they also play an important role in death rituals in Hindu religion .
This support automatically gives men a giant lead in life already as an infant. For example, the groom will at his wedding be gifted with a lot of money because he is a man, while they look at women’s labor force and conclude that they don’t deserve it as much.
