The US electoral college | 10 i karakter

The US election is unlike most elections. The person who becomes president is not necessarily the candidate who wins the most votes on Election Day.

So even if the one candidate gets the most votes, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the candidate won. On election day voters cast ballots on Election Day in each individual state.

In almost every state, the candidate who gets the most votes win all the electoral votes for that individual state with a given number of electors . Maine and Nebraska are the only states that divide their electoral votes.

In May when George Floyd died Trump tweeted out that Black Lives Matter was a symbol of hate. This comment did hurt his reputation even more.

In February Trump told in a speech that the US had Covid-19 all under control, later to find out that the United States of America is the country with the most cases in the world.

In September Trump makes fun of Biden for wearing a mask everywhere. Three Days later he caught the virus as well.

Two days later he tells the American Citizen to go out because they have the best medicine in the world and a vaccine are coming momentarily. Now in November there hasn’t been a vaccine yet.

Many Americans has been upset by his behavior when it comes to the big problems in the US and the world and will not vote for him on election day. But now to the reason(s) why he will win.

His foreign policy has been reasonable. In 2018 Trump build a closer ‘’friendship’’ with the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un.
