Everybody loves chocolate, we can all agree on that. During Christmas time, we all buy a lot of chocolate. Next time you get on your bike or in your car to go buy some chocolate, just think about how it gets produced and where it comes from.
We might enjoy eating chocolate, but the children working at the chocolate farms does not enjoy it as much as us.
The documentary is produced by danish journalist Miki Mistrati. He wants to find out if the rumors, about human trafficking in the Ivory Coast is true.
The documentary starts in Germany at a convention, where Miki and the film crew, goes around to some of the big and famous chocolate companies, and asks them where they get their cocoa from. The most common answer is of course the Ivory Coast.
