It is the dream of every child to be loved by their parent. Everyone wants to become successful in life, but the opportunities for the individual to achieve success are different.
Some people can achieve success because of the advantage their country gives them. Some people are the opposite, they travel from their country to try and achieve success in another man’s country.
Everyone wants to live a good life, but it is not everyone who gets the golden ticket.
His hate towards foreigners became extreme after 9/11, as this quote illustrate: “The tattooed man, a self-styled true American vigilante, shoots Raisuddin in revenge for 9/11. Raisuddin feels millions of bees stinging his face.
In fact, dozens of scalding, birdshot pellets puncture his head.” (p.1, ll. 11-13) The writer also makes use of figurative language, by saying “(..)scalding birdshot pellets puncture” (p.1, l.13).
This makes the reader imagine the situation in such a way that it appeals to our physical senses.
Besides the use of figurative language, the writer also makes use of contrasts. An example of this can be seen here: “Sometimes, that little boy would be at school, he’d suddenly pull a knife on his fellow classmates.
